One of the hardest working artists in Denver, MegaTron has been dropping high quality music for some time now. We haven't heard a whole lot from artists out of Fort Collins yet but Mitchell James is looking like he's someone to pay attention to. His latest project, A While Ago is full of introspective themes and robust music that is proof of James' musical ability. With some smooth instrumentation and excellent lyricism, this whole tape is worth listening to and James managed to get some dope features from West Coast legend Planet Asia and Colorado MC Anville. Check out the whole tape below.
Vwillz has been on our radar for a little bit at this point and he has stayed remarkably consistent since we discovered him. His latest track, new phone freestyle, is short but undeniably dope as he comes through with soft yet catchy vocals over a catchy beat from Jlaker. Sometimes songs under two minutes are my favorite just because of how many times they make me hit replay. Listen to new phone freestyle below and be on the lookout for more from Vwillz.
If there’s one thing the city of Denver isn’t short of, and that’s musical geniuses. Day after day, new artists pop up on our radar and you best believe Granola caught our attention. With an infectious melody that keeps you moving, and the wavy wordplay that brings you back to those late summer nights riding around town, Granola is someone to watch closely in 2019.
The amount of dope, undiscovered hip hop artists in Denver is getting ridiculous. Nahkeem and Forty $even are the most recent artists to catch our attention and their video for Leanin is about as dope as it gets. From the downtempo production to the impressive flows, this track shows that there is a plethora of talent in the Mile High City. The visual from Samuel Finley is just as solid as the song and fits the energy well. We'll be sure to keep an ear out for more from both Nahkeem and Forty $even and we hope you do too.
Dropping music on a regular basis is no easy task but Vwillz has been showing he has some serious heat in his vault and he's been blessing us consistently with new music.

His smooth R&B sound has provided some of Colorado's best music over the past year and his newest track Back Then is a perfect example of his catchy style.
