The white floors glistened as clearly affluent guests wandered from the entrance of the hotel up to their rooms. Before even meeting him, one thing was clear; Q Da Fool has reached another level. While only 20 years old, the DMV artist already has accomplishments under his belt that many vets in the game have yet to achieve. From signing to Roc Nation to performing on a nationwide tour with Shoreline Mafia, Q has been making a name for himself thanks to his raw and real musical style and aesthetic.
The amount of dope, undiscovered hip hop artists in Denver is getting ridiculous. Nahkeem and Forty $even are the most recent artists to catch our attention and their video for Leanin is about as dope as it gets. From the downtempo production to the impressive flows, this track shows that there is a plethora of talent in the Mile High City. The visual from Samuel Finley is just as solid as the song and fits the energy well. We'll be sure to keep an ear out for more from both Nahkeem and Forty $even and we hope you do too.
Slouch has been one of our favorite up and coming artists in Denver and his video for Basics is a good example why. For one, the slackbeatz produced track features melodic vocals that have become a trademark of Slouch's and the perfectly tempoed beat is signature slack as he lets the music breath at opportune times that highlight Slouch's immense ability.
